LANGLEY, BC, Feb. 4, 2015 /CNW/ - FICANEX Services Limited Partnership, (FICANEX®) announced today that its Board of Directors has named Andrew Obee as the organization's President and CEO, effective immediately. As President and CEO, Andrew's primary focus will be to build on the successes of the organization to date and identify strategic opportunities for future growth.
FICANEX®is the operator of THE EXCHANGE® ATM Network in Canada, a shared services network that permits surcharge-free cash withdrawals, PIN changes, and inter-institutional deposits at ATMs across the country, along with access to ATM and POS services (via the ACCEL® network) in the USA. THE EXCHANGE® network consists of over 170 financial institution members offering surcharge-free access to more than 4 million cardholders on over 2,500 ATMs nationwide.

Mr. Obee has worked in the financial services industry for the past 16 years, most recently as General Manager, Financial Institutions at DC Payments Inc. and Senior Vice-President, Operations and Technology at Threshold Financial Technologies Inc. (acquired in late 2013 by DC Payments). Prior to Threshold, he was Vice-President, Operations and Administration at Meridian Credit Union. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto and a Master of Business Administration degree from Queens University.
