Fidelity estimates Partnership units 1996 distribution value

TORONTO , Dec. 18 /CNW/ - Fidelity Partnership 1996 (FP96) estimates the distribution for the year ending December 31, 2009 will be approximately $0.43 per unit.

THIS IS AN ESTIMATE ONLY BASED ON CURRENT MARKET CONDITIONS AND IS SUBJECT TO CHANGES BASED ON THE ACTUAL FINANCIAL RESULTS FOR THE PARTNERSHIP.

The distribution for FP96 is payable on or after January 19, 2010 to unit holders of record on December 31, 2009 . The amount of the distribution per unit will be determined based on the Partnership's revenue less expenses for the year.

Market participants are reminded that, in accordance with the Partnership Agreement, the Partnership will cease operations on December 31, 2011 and will be dissolved shortly thereafter.

FP96 is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the trading symbol FZP.UN.
