Fidelity Investments Canada Announces Risk Rating Change for Fidelity International Value Fund Français
TORONTO, Oct. 29, 2013 /CNW/ - Fidelity Investments Canada ULC ("Fidelity") today announced a change to the risk rating of Fidelity International Value Fund in accordance with the approach recommended by the Fund Risk Classification Task Force of The Investment Funds Institute of Canada. This change will be reflected in the renewal of the simplified prospectus of the fund, which will be filed with Canadian securities regulators on or about October 30, 2013.
In connection with Fidelity's regular review of the risk classification of its funds, Fidelity has changed the risk rating for Fidelity International Value Fund from "medium" risk to "medium to high" risk. The objective and strategies of the fund remain the same.
Fidelity regularly reviews the risk classification of its funds and occasionally makes changes based on a methodology that incorporates both quantitative and qualitative considerations.
