Fidelity Investments recognized by Lipper for delivering superior
risk-adjusted returns

- Fidelity mutual funds win ten Lipper Fund Awards, coveted Best Mixed Assets Fund Family Award -

TORONTO, Feb. 19 /CNW/ - At the 4th annual Canadian Lipper Awards last night, Fidelity Investments Canada ULC was recognized by Lipper for delivering consistently strong risk-adjusted performance, relative to its peers. Fidelity won ten Lipper Fund awards in multiple fund categories, including a number of awards for Fidelity's Team Canada portfolio managers. In addition to the individual fund awards, Fidelity also won best Mixed Assets fund family in recognition of its outstanding lineup of balanced funds and managed solutions.

The Lipper awards build on the long-term positive momentum Fidelity is currently experiencing, including a 4th quarter 2009 that was Fidelity's best quarter ever, in terms of long-term gross sales. In 2009, Fidelity's Team Canada, one of the largest buy-side teams dedicated to researching and managing Canadian equity portfolios moved home to Canada, with new offices in Toronto and Montreal. This brought Fidelity's investment professionals closer to the clients they serve and the companies they cover. As well, Fidelity was named number one "Overall Company" according to the Environics Advisor Perception Study for the 4th year in a row.
