TORONTO, April 18, 2018 /CNW/ - Fidelity Investments Canada ULC, one of Canada's top investment management firms, today launched Fidelity Founders Class managed by portfolio manager Daniel Kelley.
Fidelity Founders Class is a core equity strategy focused on investing primarily in founder-led companies anywhere in the world and across the market cap spectrum in both public and private markets. A founder-led company is defined as any company where the founder remains in a position of influence, such as CEO/President, C-Suite Role, board of directors, personal or family share ownership. Leveraging the strength of Fidelity's deep global research platform, Dan will seek to identify the most compelling opportunities with strong earnings growth potential across all sectors.

Portfolio Manager Daniel Kelley
Daniel Kelley is a portfolio manager at Fidelity Investments. He manages Fidelity Founders Class. He also manages Fidelity Trend Fund and Fidelity Advisor Diversified Stock Fund for U.S. investors.
Previously, Dan managed Fidelity Large Cap Growth Fund, Fidelity Advisor Strategic Growth Fund, Fidelity VIP Growth Stock Portfolio and Fidelity Select Construction and Housing Portfolio, all for U.S. investors. Prior to assuming his portfolio management responsibilities, Dan worked as sector leader of the real estate investment trusts (REITs) research team where he was responsible for the coverage of REITs and homebuilders stocks.
Before joining Fidelity in 2005, Dan was an associate in the Institutional Equities division at Morgan Stanley. He was also a financial analyst, and later an associate, in the Equities division at Goldman Sachs & Co. He has been in the investments industry since 2001.
Dan earned his Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, in finance and accounting from Georgetown University
