Throughout Will's long and distinguished career at Fidelity, he has focused on putting unitholders first. With the launch of Fidelity Insights Class, Canadian investors can now access Will's investment expertise.
Will joined Fidelity as an equity research analyst in 1986 after graduating from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He served as the portfolio manager assistant for Fidelity Magellan Fund, working alongside renowned investor Peter Lynch from 1989 to 1990. He currently manages a number of other mandates for U.S. investors, including Fidelity Contrafund®, which is the largest solely actively managed equity mutual fund in the U.S.

Fidelity Insights Class aims to achieve long-term capital appreciation by investing primarily in equity securities of companies anywhere in the world, across the market cap spectrum, with an emphasis on U.S. equity securities.
In managing the fund, he will seek to identify "best of breed" companies that he believes will offer sustained, above-average earnings growth. He will do this through in-depth, bottom-up fundamental analysis, working in concert with Fidelity's global research team. Will's long tenure and depth of experience helps him to identify companies that have the potential to deliver durable earnings growth over the long-term for investors.
