Fidelity Stainless Ltd. Announces Acquisition of PAC PVF Trade Inc.

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Oct. 13 /CNW/ - Fidelity Stainless Ltd., a Canadian-based Master Distributor of stainless steel long products, stainless steel tube, and aluminum extrusions, today announced that it has acquired PAC PVF Trade Inc.  Established in 1977, PAC PVF Trade Inc. has warehouses in Vancouver, B.C. and Mississauga, Ontario.  The Company stocks an extensive portfolio of stainless steel PVF products, and is well known for its service excellence.

Based in Mississauga, Ontario, Fidelity has serviced Canadian Distributors for 20 years and has developed a large network of Distributors throughout Canada.  The acquisition increases the product breadth and depth for Fidelity and expands the Company's reach into the PVF market. "This acquisition brings together two of Canada's largest Master Distributors to create a Master Distributor that is uniquely qualified to meet the demands of today's competitive global marketplace", said Tom Pope, President, Fidelity.  "The acquisition is a natural fit for us and the addition of PAC Trade both underscores Fidelity's steadfast commitment to the Master Distribution role, as well as reinforces our continued investment in providing one-stop shopping for Distributors," adds Pope.

PAC Trade's founders Mike Unsworth and Dawson Campbell will remain with PAC for a short transitional period, after which they will retire.

Len Scott who has been with PAC Trade for 11 years has been appointed to Manager of Sales & Purchasing. Len and his team will operate from PAC's facility in Mississauga, Ontario.

Fidelity plans to continue to operate under the PAC PVF Trade brand for its PVF products and under the Fidelity Stainless brand for its long, tube and aluminum products.
