Total FidoCARES donation shared with Nova Scotia, Moncton, Saint John, Fredericton and PEI SPCAs
MONCTON, NB, June 14, 2013 /CNW/ - Fido kicks off its launch today of five kiosk locations in Halifax, Moncton, Fredericton and Saint John with a $100,000 commitment to local SPCAs in the region. The FidoCARES™ donation reflects the company's commitment to giving back to its customers and their communities.

The FidoCARES donation for shelters in Saint John, Fredericton, Charlottetown, Moncton and Halifax will support programs and services for animal protection, care and rehabilitation, advocacy and education.
"There is a great need in our community to support the care and well-being of rescued animals that come to our shelter," said Karen Nelson, Executive Director of the Greater Moncton SPCA. "With this significant donation from Fido, we will be better equipped to continue much-needed dog rescue and welfare programs, renovate and provide more space in our dog kennels and continue to support low-cost spay and neuter programs."
