Fiera Capital launches its new Fiera Infrastucture Fund I

MONTREAL, March 11 /CNW Telbec/ - Fiera Capital, one of the largest independent investment management firms in Canada, is proud to announce the launch of its new pooled fund, "Fiera Infrastructure Fund I" (the Fund), in collaboration with Fiera Axium Infrastructure.

The Fund invests in limited partnerships managed by Fiera Axium Infrastructure, notably Fiera Axium Infrastructure Canada Limited Partnership, a closed-end fund which completed its initial closing on February 19, 2010 with commitments totalling $175 million CAN.

Targeting both brownfield and greenfield investment opportunities, Fiera Axium Infrastructure Canada Limited Partnership will seek to invest in core transportation, energy and social infrastructure assets in Canada. Emphasis will be placed on infrastructure assets which generate attractive long-term returns.

The Fund offers access to infrastructure investments to smaller institutional investors and to high net worth individuals. The Fund also distinguishes itself by offering liquidity options to its investors.
