Experience Canada 2015 for $20.15 as affordable individual tickets are released
OTTAWA, Jan. 20, 2015 /CNW/ - Fans waiting for individual tickets for the FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015™ will get the chance to secure their seat for the biggest event of the year when individual tickets go on sale to the general public on February 26th – 100 days out from Canada's Opening Match in Edmonton on June 6th. With a base starting price of $20.15, fans will be given an affordable opportunity to experience the excitement of being there when the best in women's soccer compete for the greatest prize in the sport from June 6-July 5, 2015.
Individual tickets for all six venues will go on sale at noon ET (9 a.m. PT) on February 26th through FIFA.com/Canada2015, on a first-come, first-served basis.
VISA card holder opportunity starts February 6, 2015
In the weeks leading up to the general public individual ticket on sale date, VISA card holders will have an advance opportunity to purchase individual match tickets during a VISA pre-sale window starting February 6, 2015. VISA is the preferred payment method of the FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015™.

Ticket Information
A full range of information on Canada 2015 individual ticket prices, including a comprehensive ticketing guide, is available at FIFA.com/Canada2015. All prices listed are for each full match day, with the group stage featuring 15 doubleheaders and 6 single matches. The knockout stages include the Round of 16, Quarter Finals, Semi Finals, 3rd Place and Final Match and are all single matches.
When individual tickets go on sale, a limited number of Stadium Passports will remain available while quantities last. Stadium Half passes will no longer be available at the start of the VISA pre-sale period.
FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015™ group stage matches
Canada will open the competition in Edmonton on June 6 against China PR before facing New Zealand on June 11 and will complete the group stage on June 15 in Montréal against the Netherlands. Reigning FIFA Women's World Cup™ champion Japan will kick off its World Cup campaign with two matches in Vancouver before heading to Winnipeg for its final group stage match. FIFA top-ranked Germany will play its first two matches in Ottawa, and a third in Winnipeg. Second-ranked team USA will be launching its World Cup bid in Winnipeg, with a third match in Vancouver. Third-ranked France and sixth-ranked England are featured on the Atlantic coast in Moncton.

"I think it's really fitting to be playing our first match – the tournament opener – in Edmonton. As a team, many of us have experienced so much in Edmonton, and with Edmonton fans they make it a home field for us," said Christine Sinclair, Canada's captain. Media Accreditation
The accreditation process for media representatives wishing to cover the FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015™ is now open through the FIFA Media Channel for written press, websites, photographers and non-rights-holding TV and radio broadcasters. The deadline for accreditation applications is April 13, 2015.
