FilterBoxx Delivers First RemoteBoxx Unit in North Dakota

CALGARY, June 30, 2015 /CNW/ - Mr. Larry Novachis, Chief Executive Officer at FilterBoxx Water & Environmental Corp., is pleased to announce the successful manufacturing and delivery of FilterBoxx's standardized RemoteBoxx mobile treatment plant to one of Target Logistics' 12 facilities in North Dakota.

Target Logistics contracted FilterBoxx to provide their RemoteBoxx Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) treatment technology.  The entire system is housed in a 53' shipping container and utilizes ultra-filter membranes to separate the biomass from the treated water, resulting in high quality effluent water suitable for re-use.  An on-site storage pond will receive the treated effluent, which will be discharged through evaporation and through use by a neighboring farm for irrigation. In addition to beneficial re-use of the effluent, the new system will eliminate hauling of the wastewater thereby reducing truck traffic in the area, reducing carbon emissions, and providing Target Logistics with substantial savings in hauling costs.
