Finalists named for B.C.'s Annual Journalism Awards
VANCOUVER, Sept. 9 /CNW/ - A selection of B.C.'s best journalists have been named as finalists for the 2010 Jack Webster Awards. Winners will be announced at the 24th annual Jack Webster Awards dinner on November 1st at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Vancouver.
CBC's Senior Foreign Correspondent Adrienne Arsenault is the featured speaker at the awards dinner and CTV's Tamara Taggart and Perry Solkowski take on this year's hosting duties. A special guest appearance will be made by the Vancouver Sun's Vaughn Palmer and The Province's Mike Smyth. The 2010 Bruce Hutchison Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to celebrated sports journalist, Jim Taylor.
