Finalists revealed: 2018 Insurance Business Awards
TORONTO, Sept. 18, 2018 /CNW/ - The finalists for the 2018 Insurance Business Awards were announced today.
The event sets the standard for excellence in the insurance profession, recognizing the achievements of outstanding brokerages, insurance teams and companies and insurance professionals across 21 categories.
In total, there are over 200 finalists from more than 150 companies, representing a true cross-section of the insurance profession's best.
According to Insurance Business Canada events director Chris Davis, the finalist selection process was more tightly contested than ever this year, almost doubling the number of entries in 2017.
"The process of choosing a winner is both a diligent and meticulous one, with participation just in the nomination process alone growing year after year, but we relish such a task because we've become a trusted institution in the Canadian insurance sector.
"We couldn't ask for a more comprehensive line-up of this industry's most dedicated, diligent and diverse individuals and organizations. They demonstrate the resilience, innovation and sheer management smarts it takes to build a thriving insurance business today," she added.
