MONTREAL, Feb. 12, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Finance Montréal, Québec's financial cluster, has announced today that tickets for the event are now on sale and revealed the identity of the world renowned panelists who will take part in the FinTech Conference panel discussion. This event will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2013, at the Mont-Royal Centre, in Montreal, under the honorary presidency of Henri-Paul Rousseau, Vice-Chairman, Power Financial Corporation.

Tickets are offered until March 15, 2013 at the pre-sale price of $395. After that date, the regular price will be $495. Panelists
Finance Montréal is pleased to announce that Léo Apotheker, former President of Hewlett-Packard and SAP, will be one of the keynote speakers. He will also take part in the panel discussion moderated by David Furlonger, Vice-President of Gartner, along with Pierre Miron, Executive Vice-President, Operations and Information Technology, Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, and Robert Ouellette, Senior Vice-President, Technology and Shared Services, Desjardins Group.

FinTech Montréal Contests
Financial application developers are invited to submit a description of their project by the end of the entry period on February 28. The winners in the 5 contest categories will each receive $10,000 in prize at a ceremony to be held during the closing cocktail of the 2013 FinTech Conference.
