Finance Montréal showcases Québec's economic metropolis's progress at the Innovation for Financial Services conference in Singapore Français

SINGAPORE, Oct. 25, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - During the third edition of the Innovation for Financial Services Conference, which took place this year in Singapore, Mr. Eric Lemieux, Finance Montréal's Chief Executive Officer, showcased various initiatives undertaken in Montréal to foster innovation in the financial services industry. Close to 150 financiers, academics and public sector decision-makers from around the world heard about Montréal's financial sector's innovative approaches and the factors that make it stand out from comparable financial centres. Finance Montreal also concluded an agreement with the Innovation for Financial Services Conference, to hold this event in Montréal in October 2014, in conjunction with the second edition of the FinTech Conference organized by Finance Montréal. The FinTech Conference's mission is to bring together the information technology and financial sectors, and to support the development of solutions that can be applied in the financial industry.
