Financial data interface for subcontractor claims - increases efficiency and reduces risk for construction industry
Jobpac and Textura partner to deliver claims processing efficiency and visibility.
SYDNEY, May 20, 2014 /CNW/ - Jobpac International Systems and Textura Australasia™ are pleased to announce the availability of a bi-directional interface between the Jobpac Construction Business Solution and Textura-Construction Payment Management™ (CPM™).
Jobpac and Textura have worked together to offer the Australian and New Zealand construction markets a fully integrated approach for Subcontract Payments – for the benefit of the industry.
The Jobpac – Textura bi-directional interface delivers import/export functionality to help improve claims processing efficiency:
- Contracts and variations are exported from Jobpac to Textura.
- Assessed subcontractor invoices are exported from Textura to Jobpac.
This functionality completely automates subcontractor claim data entry by eliminating the head contractor's need to manually enter the data into Jobpac.
The construction industry is continually looking for ways to improve efficiencies, minimise risk and gain visibility to their subcontractor claims. By interfacing real-time, financially accurate data, CPM ensures that Jobpac remains the builder's system-of-record while providing a faster, more efficient means for processing claims.
Steve Ironside, Chairman, Jobpac International Systems explained, "We are happy to partner with Textura to offer our clients the best of both worlds – combining Jobpac's world-class accounting and project management construction software solution with the industry-leading, and world-wide unique, collaborative claims and payment management system, CPM."
"Our strategy is to only partner with best-in-class leading solutions and to ensure that we protect and leverage the investment our clients have already made in Jobpac. The Jobpac-Textura interface limits the extent of the process re-engineering required within our clients' organisations to achieve collaboration, and ensure these systems contain correct and up-to-date data," added Ironside.
Textura extends the reach of the Jobpac system. Jobpac maintains reporting and business intelligence capabilities with financially accurate information, whilst builders gain efficiency and real time visibility to subcontractor claim and variation activity by managing claims in CPM.
Pat Allin, Chairman and CEO, Textura Corporation (NYSE: TXTR) stated, "We are delighted to partner with Jobpac, a leading ERP solution provider to the construction industry in Australasia. Textura-CPM helps builders process claims in a timely and efficient manner through an easy-to-use web-based platform. This is especially important with increasingly strict timing requirements for SoP claims. Jointly with Jobpac we look forward to implementing this new and exciting capability in the ANZ markets."
