Fire on Ice hockey tournament features the best of women's hockey

ROCHESTER, NY, Nov. 6, 2014 /CNW/ - Rochester Fire on Ice LLC, Travel Teams USA and Rush Hockey are pleased to bring an elite group of women's hockey players from around North America to participate in the Rochester Fire on Ice hockey tournament, running from November 7th to 9th, 2014.

More than 3000 women will participate in one of the country's largest and most exciting events, managed by tournament organizers Jeff Kolcon and Kelly Katorji. 

"In total, 169 girls' hockey teams will compete. Over 145 of these teams will travel from more than 16 states and Canada to be a part of the competition," explains Jeff Kolcon. "Joining our out-of-town players will be approximately 4000 family and friends, who will enjoy the on-ice action and local hospitality of the Rochester community."   

The event will also feature a NCAA D1 women's ice hockey game on Saturday, November 8, 2014, when St. Lawrence University takes on Dartmouth at 5:00 p.m. at Bill Gray's Ice Complex.

Rochester Fire on Ice is independently owned and operated and holds no affiliation with
any hockey school, learning or training academy or other entity. This tournament is a showcase of some of the best hockey talent in North America and enjoys being a major contributor to the local economy.
