First Asset Expands US$ Actively Managed ETF Lineup with First Asset Investment Grade Bond ETF (TSX: FIG.U)

TORONTO, Dec. 12, 2017 /CNW/ - First Asset Investment Management Inc. ("First Asset") announces that, effective today, US$ units of First Asset Investment Grade Bond ETF will commence trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange ("TSX") as an exchange-traded fund (an "ETF") under the ticker symbol FIG.U. Canadian dollar units have been available since August 2016, trading under the symbol FIG. 

Actively managed by Marret Asset Management, this ETF aims to provide exposure to a high quality, diversified mix of investment grade corporate bonds from issuers in Canada, the US and Europe. The investment objectives of the ETF are to provide unitholders with monthly cash distributions and to maximize total returns for unitholders consisting primarily of monthly distributions, while reducing risk and preserving capital. Under normal market conditions, the ETF will be primarily invested in investment-grade bonds and other investment-grade debt securities.
