Almost 1.4 million tickets — starting at $20 — are available for spectators anywhere in the world to submit their requests, but only until October 6! This international early access period is the time to stake your claim to the best tickets for the hottest events.
Events such as:
- The unforgettable and magical Opening Ceremony — a one-night-only show by Official Creative Partner, the world-renowned Cirque du Soleil — where the Pan Am Cauldron will be lit to officially start the Games.
- The setting of new Pan Am and world records by top athletes from the Americas.

More than 6,000 top athletes from 41 countries in the Americas will compete at the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am Games in 36 sports, including the Pan Am debut of canoe/kayak – slalom, golf, women's baseball and women's rugby sevens.
Toronto is one of the most important stops for athletes on the road to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and competition is expected to be especially fierce. Two-thirds of the Olympic sport competitions at TORONTO 2015 will be part of the qualification system for Rio.
"We're incredibly excited to finally open the Games up to sports fans both here at home and in the Americas," said Saäd Rafi, chief executive officer of the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games Organizing Committee (TO2015).
"We're determined to deliver the best Pan Am Games ever — one that athletes and spectators will rave about for years to come. That's why we're so pleased our tickets will be affordable for families — more than 75 per cent will be $45 or less."
How the TORONTO 2015 Ticketing Program Works
- Request your tickets: Starting TODAY and running until Monday, October 6 at 9 p.m. (ET), the public can use this early access period to request the hottest Games tickets at TORONTO2015.org/tickets.
To ensure fairness, in situations where more tickets are requested than are available for an event, customer ticket requests will be placed in a lottery. This lottery system, which is often used at mega-events like the recent Olympic Games in Vancouver and London, ensures everyone will have equal access to the most in-demand tickets. - Ticket order processing: Customers will receive an email in late November 2014 telling them to check their account and see whether their ticket requests were successful.
All tickets not snapped up during the ticket request phase from September 15 to October 6 will be available through general sale, where tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, beginning in December 2014. Further details on this process will be released after the ticket request phase ends.
