MONTREAL, May 18, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - Economic leaders from across Canada launched the Economic Action Forum, a series of biennial forums organized by the Economic Action Network, composed of the Community Economic Development and Employability Corporation (CEDEC), the Réseau de développement économique et d'employabilité (RDÉE) Canada and Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC).
The objective of the Economic Action Network is to ensure collaboration of Canada's key players in economic development within and beyond English and French official language minority communities.
This forum, taking place May 17-18 at Hotel Bonaventure, brings together more than 200 participants from across Canada to seize the opportunity to network and exchange best practices related to tourism, the green economy, small business support and workforce development.
