Mrs. Valerie Dussault created history by being elected as the first woman to the Board of Directors
MISSISSAUGA, ON, July 24, 2012 /CNW/ - In a male-dominated moving industry, history was created on April 18, 2012 at the Annual General Meeting of United Van Lines (Canada) Ltd. in Naples, Florida by shareholders electing the first woman to the Board of Directors.
Valerie Dussault is President of Demenagement Ste-Foy Moving Inc., a family-owned and operated business in Quebec City, Quebec and a Member of United Van Lines (Canada) Ltd. since 1970. Valerie has a long history in Demenagement Ste-Foy Moving Inc. and works closely with the family in all aspects of the business. The Dussault family name is a well-known and integral part of the moving industry in Quebec.

Valerie has been elected for a two-year term to the Board where she will have an active role in Board Committee work, decision-making processes and developing policy representing the best interest for all Members across Canada.
