Flight Network Reveals The Top 50 Canadian Small Towns, Encouraging Domestic Travel Due to Weak Dropping Canadian Dollar
OAKVILLE, ON, March 1, 2016 /CNW/ - Canadian Travel Agency, Flight Network is excited to announce their first inaugural list of Top 50 Small Towns in Canada. With the Canadian dollar continuing to decrease, these 50 small towns would be a great option to experience the road less travelled to the more quaint places this country has to offer. For example, the small town of Mahone Bay in Nova Scotia only has 900 people. Even with a small population, some of the best small restaurants and little shops line the main street. In addition, the town's three churches are said to be the most photographed in Canada.
Flight Network Chief Marketing Officer, Neil Bhapkar says,"With the low Canadian dollar, Canadians are considering more domestic travel options instead of international or US destinations. This list will inspire travel to the small Canadian towns on our list, where Canadians can get more bang for their buck."
Jody Robbins, travel writer for the Calgary Herald and Huffington Post, explains her thoughts on visiting small towns, "The road less travelled is infinitely more interesting, plus you avoid the crowds. There's always quirky characters easily found within the local coffee shop or the town pub in Canada's small towns."
