MONTREAL, Dec. 23, 2024 /CNW/ - Fondaction announces that as of today, its share value is set at $16.73. This represents an increase of $0.58. For the 6-month period ended November 30, 2024, shareholder return was 3.6% and return over the last 12 months was 9.8%. Share value following the 6-month period ended May 31, 2024 was $16.15.

Fondaction's annual compound shareholder returns are 9.8% over 1 year, 0.5% over 3 years, 5.7% over 5 years and 5.4% over 10 years, calculated based on the variation of the share value between its value at the start of each indicated period and the value of $16.73 as at November 30, 2024. These returns do not take into account tax credits that could be granted to taxpayers when subscribing to Fondaction shares, subject to their eligibility.
For the 6-month period ended November 30, 2024, the gross return generated by development capital investments was 3.6% and the gross return generated by other investments was 6.6%.
Total operating expense ratio was at 1.09% for the 6-month period ended November 30, 2024, compared to 1.17% for the 6-month period ended November 30, 2023.
Net assets increased by 5.9% over the 6-month period, rising to $3.99B as at November 30, 2024.
On November 30, 2024, Fondaction had 222,366 shareholders, 0.4% more than on May 31, 2024.
Share issuance totalled $190.6M, compared with $211.2M as at November 30, 2023. Redemptions and purchases by agreement of shares totalled $108.0M, compared with $85.4M as at November 30, 2023.
