QUÉBEC, Feb. 12, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Fonds de solidarité FTQ President and Chief Executive Officer Gaétan Morin and Executive Vice-President of Investments Normand Chouinard are pleased to announce that the Fonds is earmarking $10 million for the Québec government's PerforME program.
"The Fonds de solidarité FTQ is planning to invest $1.6 billion over the next three years in companies impacting the Québec economy and looking to grow. The $10 million envelope set aside by the Fonds for the PerforME created for high-growth Québec SMEs is therefore right in line with its strategy to back business owners all across Québec," said Mr. Morin.
"Supporting businesses is what the Fonds' mission is all about, and the reason we're able to do this is the tax credits granted to labour fund shareholders. It's worth mentioning that for each dollar in Québec tax credits granted to our shareholders, the Fonds invests $5.68 in the local economy," added Mr. Chouinard.
