In between bites of some of the most delicious food that this country has to offer, Noah and Lynn gather the recipes and document the stories that lay the foundation for the Great Canadian Cookbook which can be found on GreatCanadianCookbook.ca.
"Over 16,000 kilometres and 125 meals later, I can truly say that this experience has opened my eyes and my mouth to the best of Canadian cuisine," said Noah Cappe, Host of Food Network Canada's Great Canadian Cookbook. "From Bannock tacos to Caribbean roti and the best Peking duck I've ever tasted, Canada's culinary landscape is as diverse as it is delicious."
"Food is a storybook in its own right, and hearing the incredible stories of everyday Canadians through their own family recipes is one of my favourite parts of being a Chef," said Lynn Crawford, Food Network Celebrity Chef. "This journey brought me even closer to the country I love and the diversity of our people and the foods we've woven in to our cultural fabric."
Food Network Canada's Great Canadian Cookbook four-part television series is an original production produced by Alibi Entertainment for Shaw Media and Food Network Canada.
