Food Safety Notice - Miramichi, NB, Real Atlantic Superstore at 408 King George Highway notifies customers of potential of metal pieces in select ground beef products

BRAMPTON, ON, May 16, 2014 /CNW/ - Loblaw Companies Limited is notifying customers of the Real Atlantic Superstore at 408 King George Highway in Miramichi, New Brunswick, of the potential risk that specific ground beef products sold on May 14, 15 and 16 may contain small metal pieces.

Customers who purchased products that fit the following descriptions should not consume the meat and should return it for a full refund.

The potentially affected products follow:

All potentially affected products have been removed from sale. No other stores are affected and no incidents of contamination or injury have been reported.
