TORONTO, May 17, 2023 /CNW/ - The Board of Directors for The Independent Order of Foresters has approved a dividend of approximately $10.6 million CAD and a dividend interest rate of 5.5 percent for eligible[1] participating certificate holders in Canada for 2022. This is an increase in the dividend interest rate of approximately 5 percent over the previous year.
Foresters Financial Chief Financial Officer Alvin Sharma said, "The increased dividend reflects a strong commitment to our members, especially in a year where we experienced considerable macroeconomic uncertainty. Foresters history of consistent dividend payments is underscored by our exceptional financial strength, as evidenced in receiving an "A" (Excellent) rating from A.M.
