Former IPG Advisors successfully converted to UNIVERIS

IPC completes back-office conversion of former IPG Advisors on to UNIVERIS platform

TORONTO, Aug. 27, 2015 /CNW/ - In August 2013, Investment Planning Counsel (IPC) acquired Independent Planning Group (IPG), a gain of approximately 150 Financial Advisors operating in Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia with over $2 billion in assets under administration.

Over the past 19 years IPC has invested heavily in all the tools Advisors need to enhance and run their practice. And as part of the IPC business growth roadmap, a decision was made to convert IPG data from the existing competitor system to IPC's UNIVERIS environment.  Earlier this summer, UNIVERIS completed a successful migration of all former IPG Advisors over to the system.  "A seamless conversion was the key focus for us and UNIVERIS, in order to create an easy changeover for former IPG Advisors.  With that goal, UNIVERIS was able to deliver smooth execution of a stable and secure system for our newly transitioned advisors," says Reggie Alvares, Executive Vice President at IPC.
