MONTREAL, April 23, 2019 /CNW Telbec/ - Forsman & Bodenfors, world-renowned creative collective agency, announced today the hiring of a new creative lead at the company's Montreal office: Eva Van den Bulcke. In her role, Van den Bulcke will be working in partnership with Managing Director Karine Huard to lead the Montreal team, and develop Forsman's presence in the Quebec market.
"We are thrilled to have someone of Eva's calibre join our team", said Chief Creative Officer Matt Hassell. "As someone with the depth of agency experience that Eva has, coupled with her expertise as a successful creative team leader, she will bring a powerful new creative force to the Montreal office."
This is the latest move by Forsman & Bodenfors Montreal to drive the industry forward with world-class talent and a unique approach to working that champions collaboration, flat team structures and fluid interdisciplinary cooperation. While Van den Bulcke joins the agency as Executive Creative Director, the agency's way of working breaks free from the standard hierarchical agency model and empowers employees to work in highly creative ways, while integrating data, technology and media expertise in their process. In the Forsman & Bodenfors way, "the only boss is the task itself."
Forsman's Global Executive Chairman and Copywriter Anna Qvennerstedt stated: "I am blown away by Eva. She is a Swiss army knife creative and very inspiring as a person. I can't believe our luck, and I can't wait to start working with her."
Van den Bulcke spent 15 years at Sid Lee as a partner and has been focusing on creating branded content for the last five years, creating award-winning films for local and international brands. She worked with clients such as McDonald's, Adidas, Quebec Tourism, Gaz Métro (Énergir), SAQ, IGA, Coppertone, Cirque du Soleil, OneDrop, Bell, Smart Mercedes-Benz, Bombardier, Renaissance Investments, belairdirect, François Chartier and Plaisirs Gastronomiques. The accolades have come from all sides: Cannes Film Festival, New York Film Festival, Marketing Awards, Design & Advertising Awards, Grafika and PCM (Créa) Awards. She was selected by Marketing Magazine for its Top 30 Under 30, and La Presse designated her as one of the "six women who make a difference in Quebec".
Regarding her new role, Van den Bulcke says, "Forsman's current momentum and their human, collaborative approach really spoke to me. It's a company with a great culture and the potential to do exceptional work, and I'm really excited to be joining Karine and the Forsman team".
