Company's Chief Technology Officer to Participate in Panel Discussion on Ensuring Validated Identity
BOSTON, May 14, 2015 /CNW/ -- Forum Systems Inc. announced today that CTO Jason Macy will present at the MITRE-ATARC Cybersecurity Collaboration Symposium on Wednesday, May 20th, at the Renaissance Washington in Washington, D.C.
Sharing insights from 20 years of assisting organizations around the world in defining and deploying best-in-class information security and privacy solutions, Macy will participate in the panel, "Ensuring Validated Identity." He will be joined by Eugene Yu, Deputy Director, Identity, Credential and Access Management for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and Dr. Rocky Young, Principal Cyber Security Engineer at MITRE and former Division Chief of Emerging Technology and Cybersecurity for the U.S. Department of Defense.
The afternoon component of the ATARC Federal Cybersecurity Integration Summit, the MITRE-ATARC Cybersecurity Collaboration Symposium features discussion and white-boarding between government and industry subject matter experts in a small-group setting. The outcomes of these sessions will be compiled in a white paper with recommendations to the government. In the morning during the Summit, Forum Systems will be showcasing its award-winning API Gateway, Forum Sentry, in Booth #11.
"The proliferation of mobile devices – paired with dynamics such as cloud computing, open systems, Big Data and the Internet of Things – is driving demand for more robust, flexible and cost-effective approaches to secure identity and access control," said Macy. "Forum Systems works side by side with many of the world's most visionary companies and government groups to protect their most sensitive information. I look forward to sharing those experiences with attendees and comparing real-world perspectives that will help all of us increase the value we deliver to our organizations."
