BRAMPTON, ON, Dec. 18 /CNW/ - (Franchise Bancorp Inc. - TSX Venture Exchange - FBI) - The uncertain economy has not slowed the growth of Franchise Bancorp Inc., who showed an increase in total network sales of 12% to hit $100,834,000 , up from $89,995,000 in fiscal 2008.

Net Earnings for the year ending August 31, 2009 increased 33% to $458,000 from $344,000 . Earnings per share increased to $0.06 per share from $0.04 per share from a year earlier.

Franchise Bancorp Inc. operates three franchise divisions: Living Lighting Inc., Liv Canada Gift Group Inc., and Global Pet Food Stores.

Living Lighting operates 31 franchised outlets. Liv Canada Gift Group, under the Rafters Home Store and Panhandler banners operate 12 outlets, and Global Pet Foods has grown to 125 locations.
