Franchise Company Updates International Expansion Plans

GURNEE, Ill., March 4, 2013 /CNW/ - Due to changes in its business model for international expansion and a materially changed business climate, BrightStar International Franchise Holdings, Inc. announced today the strategic decision to take its international expansion in a different direction in 2013.

The result is the repurchase of the Eastern Canadian Master Franchise rights from Brian Evans. "We are very grateful to Brian for his years of professional stewardship of the BrightStar brand as well as his management of the wind down of BrightStar's initial entry into Toronto. Everything was handled in a very professional manner which protected the BrightStar brand and ensured that BrightStar has the ability to execute on its revised international expansion strategy going forward," said CEO and co-founder of BrightStar Care Shelly Sun.
