Frank D'Angelo's new Being Frank TV Show snaps up an exclusive interview with
Al Pacino
TORONTO, Nov. 25 /CNW/ - With only 3 shows under his belt and boasting interviews with top notch celebrity guests, Frank D'Angelo and his new late night TV show "The Being Frank Show" which airs on CHCH Fridays at 1:00 am (EST)/ 10:00 pm (PST) is already having a special presentation this Friday November 26 with an intimate conversation with the legendary iconic actor, Al Pacino. Known for creating some of the most memorable characters in film, Al Pacino rarely does any television interviews and this is possibly the only Canadian interview he will ever do.
"Mr. Pacino is one of the most respected actors on the planet and to grant us an exclusive interview is an amazing achievement for the show. For me personally it's an incredible honour to be granted this rare opportunity to discuss his career," stated Frank D'Angelo.
The Being Frank Show, featuring celebrity guest stars and zany characters from Frank D'Angelo's creative imagination, is now really starting to have legs with a list of celebrated guest stars lining up to be on the show. Next week's episode will feature celebrated actors Bill Fichtner (starring in Entourage and over 40 other film roles) and Kim Coates (currently starring in Sons of Anarchy and a host of other film roles).
"The Being Frank Show is being produced to fill a void in the Canadian late night segment and the unpredictable and talented Frank D'Angelo is just the one to do it," says Jeremy Major, director of the show. "The producers of The Being Frank Show vow that the show will not take a back seat to the American shows that have dominated late night for the past four decades."
Besides serving as the host of the show, Frank's D'Angelo's other talents are also showcased. The theme song "No More Blue" and other songs going in and out of breaks are all original songs written and recorded by Frank. As a matter of fact, his songs have captured the hearts of many fans since being featured on YouTube with his song "We Had A Good Run" going viral with over 1.3 million hits worldwide. And if he is not busy enough, he has just recorded and released a new single for this holiday season entitled "Let's Celebrate". With net proceeds being donated to various charities that support the homeless, the song is available online at www.frankdangelo.ca and on iTunes. The CD is also being incorporated into a holiday greeting card so anybody who purchases it can have it as a keepsake or use it to send to others as a holiday greeting card.
