Frank D'Angelo's Song "You're The One" Breaks into Top 20 U.S. A/C Chart

TORONTO, May 10, 2012 /CNW/ - Frank D'Angelo's new R&B single 'You're The One' has soared into the top 20 U.S. adult contemporary FMQB music chart. Only six weeks after its debut, the song is now being played on radio stations all throughout the U.S.

Frank is delighted that U.S. radio stations have been so quick to embrace the song. "The support has been awesome," says Frank D'Angelo. "And thanks to the U.S. radio airtime, new fans are discovering the song has real meaning with their day-to-day lives."

Written and performed by Frank, 'You're The One' is proof that almost anything can be achieved when great music is coupled to tenacity and determination. An R&B veteran, Frank has had his share of successes and fame, but nothing like this before. "I'm overwhelmed by it all. To be on the same chart in the world's largest R&B market - with respected artists like Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Coldplay and Nickelback - is humbling to say the least. I'm thrilled and honored," added Frank D'Angelo

'You're The One' is a song about love, forgiveness and making relationships work that has proved to resonate with listeners, speaking to the times we're all living in. Recently, a mini concert tour promoting the new 'The Winds of Time' CD kicked off at the Markham Theatre to rave reviews and a packed house. Backed by his impressive 15-piece band, Frank delivered an outstanding, heartfelt performance that had the entire audience on their feet dancing. "The audience was absolutely spectacular. You could tell everyone there were music fans not just my fans," says Frank. "R&B is melodic, the words are compelling and even if someone isn't passionate about music it captivates them. There are great vocal harmonies, great rhythm and great melody."

Canadian fans can experience Frank D'Angelo performing live at Boston Manor in Burlington Ontario May 12 and Theatre Rialto in Montreal Quebec May 20 with more dates to follow. The concerts will be taped and segments will be aired on the last episode of the second season of The Being Frank Show on May 25. Ticket sales to all upcoming concerts have been selling rapidly, and indications are that he'll be playing to sold out crowds.
