Franklin Templeton Investments terminating Canada's Franklin Global Real
Estate Corporate Class

TORONTO, Sept. 28 /CNW/ - Franklin Templeton Investments Corp. today announced plans to terminate Franklin Global Real Estate Corporate Class.  Effective September 29, 2010, the fund will cease offering shares for purchase and it will be terminated on or about December 10, 2010.  The fund invests substantially all of its assets in units of Franklin Global Real Estate Fund. On or about December 8, 2010, Franklin Global Real Estate Fund will be liquidated and it will make a final distribution of any income and capital gains and distribute its net assets to Franklin Global Real Estate Corporate Class.

The decision to terminate Franklin Global Real Estate Corporate Class is due to the small number of shareholders and the associated cost of managing and maintaining smaller funds. Shareholders can redeem or switch their holdings in the fund on or prior to December 9, 2010.  At the close of business on December 10, 2010, any remaining shareholders who hold the fund in a:

• Registered account will have their holdings switched into Franklin Templeton Money Market Corporate Class;
• Non-registered account will have their holdings liquidated at fair market value.

Shareholders are encouraged to speak with their financial advisor to discuss their investment options.

Shareholders will not be required to pay any redemption fees, sales charges or other fees associated with the termination of the fund.  All costs associated with the termination of the fund will be borne by Franklin Templeton Investments Corp.
