French Ambassador To Visit French Immersion Elementary School In Richmond Monday, March 30th
VANCOUVER, March 30, 2015 /CNW/ - The French Ambassador to Canada, Mr. Nicolas Chapuis, will meet with hundreds of French immersion students at Anderson Elementary in Richmond later this morning. Anderson Elementary is one of the most culturally and linguistically diverse schools in British Columbia.
The Ambassador's visit comes on the heels of the first ever state visit by the President of France to Western Canada.
"Canada's two Official Languages are an important part of our heritage and an even more important part of our future," commented Canadian Parents for French BC & YK Branch President Patti Holm.
Ms Holm added, "Canada's two Official Languages provide our youth with incredible life changing social, cultural, and economic opportunities. They also enable them to realize their full potential across Canada and around the world."
