QUEBEC, Aug. 16, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - François Macerola, Chairman of Frima's Board of Directors, is happy to announce the appointment of Martin Carrier as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective since August 7, 2017.
Former Vice President and Studio Head of Warner Bros. Games Montreal, Mr. Carrier has over 20 years of experience in management and leadership in the video game industry. In the past, he also founded the O&O consulting firm and worked at Bluestreak Technology, as well as Ubisoft Montreal as Vice President of communications and corporate affairs. Over the years, he has also acted as President of Alliance numérique, a business network for new media and digital interactive content in Quebec, in addition to sitting on the ESAC's board of direction (Entertainment Software Association of Canada). Involved in the cultural community, he was also appointed Chairman of the Board for the Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec by the Cabinet of Quebec in December 2016.

Mr. Macerola also wanted to give his warmest thanks to Christian Daigle, acting CEO for the last two years. "As co-founder of Frima, I am delighted to welcome Martin to the company. I am convinced that his significant experience in business development and management will allow us to capitalize even more on our potential and our know-how. Martin and I have been collaborating diligently and efficiently for a few weeks now, working on the transition, and we still have a few more weeks to go," stated Mr. Daigle, who will remain an active member of the management team.
Martin Carrier holds a Master of Business Administration from EMBA McGill HEC Montréal. During his career, he has headed innovative initiatives, created brands, and excelled in product development. He has filled essential roles in the fields of administration, finance, servicing, legal affairs, human resources, and production, all while playing an active part in government relations.
