Frontenac Mortgage Investment Corporation - Board of Directors Elects New Chair

SHARBOT LAKE, ON, July 6, 2015 /CNW/ - Frontenac Mortgage Investment Corporation is pleased to announce that Mr. Robert Barnes was unanimously elected as new Chair at the Board of Directors meeting on June 29, 2015.  Mr. Barnes began his career in financial services having worked for both National Trust and ING Direct.  He then moved into the technology sector working for the U.S. based database marketing firm Harte-Hanks Data Technologies.  Robert then had the opportunity to purchase an ownership position in a Toronto based database marketing firm which he co-managed until he sold his position in 2007.  Robert is currently the Director of Managed Services for EllisDon, one of Canada's leading construction companies.  He has been an investor in Frontenac since 1997 and became a Director in 2006.

The other members of the Board, sitting as Directors are Audit Committee Chair, Eric Dinelle, Governance and Nominations Committee Chair, Margaret Kelk, Sheldon Jacobs and William Calvert.
