Frontera Announces Closing of Offering of U.S.$350 Million 9.70% Senior Unsecured Notes Due 2023
TORONTO, June 25, 2018 /CNW/ - Frontera Energy Corporation (TSX: FEC) ("Frontera" or the "Company"), announced today that it completed its previously announced offering of U.S.$350 million in senior unsecured notes due 2023 at a coupon rate of 9.70% (the "Notes") pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S of the U.S. Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the "Act"). Certain proceeds from the offering were used to repurchase, at a premium, the Company's U.S.$250 million 10.0% senior secured notes due 2021 pursuant to a tender offer. The remaining proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.
This press release is being issued pursuant to and in accordance with Rule 135c under the Act. The Notes have not been registered under the Act and may not be offered or sold in the United States absent registration or an applicable exemption from registration requirements.
