Fujitsu Names Satoru Yamaguchi President and Chief Executive Officer of Fujitsu Semiconductor Wireless Products
TEMPE, Ariz., April 20, 2012 /CNW/ - Fujitsu Semiconductor Wireless Products, Inc. (FSWP) today announced that Satoru Yamaguchi has been named president and chief executive officer effective April 2, 2012. He replaces the retiring Yutaka Suzuki.

Yamaguchi joined Fujitsu in 1980. During the early part of his career as a design engineer, manager and director, he was intimately involved with the development of several leading-edge engineering projects at both Fujitsu Limited and Fujitsu VLSI Limited. In 2004, Yamaguchi became the vice general manager of the System Micro Division, and became the head of the Advanced Solutions Division of Fujitsu Limited the next year. In 2010, he was named president and CEO of Fujitsu VLSI Limited. The following year, he was appointed corporate vice president of Fujitsu Semiconductor Limited. In addition to his new role leading Fujitsu Semiconductor Wireless Products, Yamaguchi will serve as president and CEO of Fujitsu Semiconductor America, Inc.
