Fundata announces additions to the 2015 FundGrade™ A+ Award winners

TORONTO, Jan. 26, 2016 /CNW/ - On January 21^st, 2016 Fundata Canada Inc. held an awards ceremony to announce the winners of the Fundata FundGrade A+ Award for 2015. Initially 45 companies representing a total of 213 Canadian investment funds received the Fundata FundGrade A+ Award. However, upon further review, Fundata is awarding ten additional funds from the following firms: Mawer Investment Management Inc., Invesco Canada Ltd., Fiera Capital Corp., Russell Investments Canada Ltd., and Capital International Asset Management. The funds include Mawer Canadian Equity Fund, Mawer New Canada Fund, Mawer U.S. Equity Fund, Mawer International Equity Fund, Mawer Global Small Cap Fund, Mawer Global Equity Fund, Fiera Capital Global Equity Fund, Russell Overseas Equity Fund, Invesco International Growth Class, and Capital Group Global Equity Fund (Canada).

For Mawer, this brings their total to eight FundGrade A+ award winners, Invesco's total is now six, while Fiera, Russell and Capital International each have one.  For Mawer Canadian Equity Fund, Mawer New Canada Fund, Mawer International Equity Fund, Mawer Global Small Cap Fund, and Mawer Global Equity Fund., this is their 4th consecutive Fundata FundGrade A+ Award. While for Mawer U.S. Equity Fund, this is the 3rd consecutive award.

This marks the third consecutive award for Capital Group Global Equity Fund and Fiera Capital Global Equity Fund, while the Invesco International Growth Class won the award in 2012, 2014, and 2015. This is the first win for the Russell Overseas Equity Fund.

Fundata regrets having not included the aforementioned funds in the initial announcement and has implemented processes that will allow for all FundGrade A+ award winners to be announced simultaneously.
