FYidoctors celebrates 10 years of enhancing lives!

CALGARY, April 4, 2018 /CNW/ - This week, FYidoctors, the world's largest doctor-owned provider of ophthalmic products and services, celebrates its 10^th anniversary.  

For ten years FYidoctors / Visique has been changing the industry with its unique optometrist-owned-and-operated business model, which has led to uncompromising patient-focused care. With its mission to enhance the lives of Canadians, FYidoctors has grown to over 450 optometrists leading over 175 locations.

Founder and CEO Dr. Alan Ulsifer stated that FYidoctors' ten-year milestone and steady growth demonstrates the value of optometrist-led service, and validates that doctors are the right people to lead meaningful industry change.

FYidoctors' ten year anniversary comes on the heels of several major national developments. In January 2016 FYidoctors opened a state-of-the-art ophthalmic laboratory and distribution centre in Delta, British Columbia, creating a dependable supply chain of the highest quality Canadian-crafted lenses. In August 2017 Marchand Giguère and its affiliates bannered under Visique, consolidating 21 different banners in Quebec under one unified brand.
