G20 Riots interfere with 'Shout it out' Music Video Shoot of Marc Mysterio
leaving Cast and Crew traumatized
TORONTO, June 28 /CNW Telbec/ - After years of sweat, blood, tears, hard work, and international hits with Samantha Fox and Chris Willis, of David Guetta Fame(whom he also remixed in 2007, 'Delirious') on records, as well as the recent Black Eyed Peas Listener Call-in Request Controversy involving Pohlad-Owned KHTC 93 NOW Fm - this was to be the big day of Marc Mysterio.
Marc was finally set to take the spotlight with the video shoot of 'Shout It Out' , the lead single of his forthcoming debut album, 'Redemption', released by the who's-who of record labels, including: Cloud 9 Dance / Armada - owned by the world's No.1 DJ Armin van Buuren - who's roster includes Cascada; Hypetraxx / Sony ATV (France); Nettswork Records; World Class Records; and, of course, The Don of Dance, Luciano Ingrosso of Joia Records whom is responsible for the creation of The 'Swedish House Mafia' (i.e. Axwell, Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso the nephew of Luciano).
"We were just driving down the street, and a riot between cops and protesters had broken out in the street in front of us as we travelled between locations - the cops even banged on our hood with their baton threatening us even though we were boxed in by traffic - a frightening situation, to say the least" said Marc Mysterio.
This violence also lead to an unforeseen last-minute expense to replace Model Kirsten Comerford's appearance in the clip via her agent, Laura of Sutherland Models (famous for their involvement in 'Canada Top Model)':
"I'm sorry to tell you that because of riots that Kirsten is no longer interested in your project. Her safety is under extreme care. I hope you can replace her".
After touring the world, Marc Mysterio has been: invited as Guest Host/DJ with Judge Jules on BBC Radio 1; NRJ; Radio 538; Y100 Miami; to co-produce a song for Grammy Winner Roger Sanchez new record; and, of course with his resurrection of Samantha Fox, Marc Mysterio is ready for primetime but instead has experienced a post-apocalyptic world:
"What is the real purpose of this summit? Why could it not be effectuated over Skype? It just seems very capricious and indifferent to not only hold this in the 3rd largest market in North America, but also to fence in the downtown-core, post-apocalyptic style - did they not realize that this will inflict major trauma upon the citizens of our city? Honestly, I feel traumatized and I'm sure the cops do as well and, moreover, after the G20 is over, I hope these tensions will not linger" concludes Marc Mysterio.
