G8 leaders are pregnant with promises, but will they deliver?
World Vision's larger than life message to the leaders of the G8

WHEN: Thursday June 24, 2010 2:00 p.m. WHERE: St. James Cathedral, West Lawn 65 Church Street Toronto VISUALS: Creative visual display of larger than life 'pregnant with promises' G8 leaders roaming around on stilts. Each G8 leader is pregnant and will be examined with an ultrasound machine by a midwife. The results of the test will show the promises they have made on the screen. Local World Vision activists will pace around the leaders holding ghostly white strollers, cribs and toys to symbolize the 8.8 million children every year who die before their fifth birthday. South African vuvuzela horns will be used as fetal heart monitors on the pregnant leaders.
