BRAMPTON, ON, Oct. 26 /CNW/ - Gamma-Dynacare Medical Laboratories has been named, for the second consecutive year, as one of Canada's Top 100 Employers and one of the Greater Toronto Area's Top Employers by Mediacorp Canada , Inc.

Mediacorp's Top 100 Employers competition recognizes employers who are industry leaders at creating exceptional workplaces and attracting and retaining employees. This year, Mediacorp invited 16,000 of Canada's fastest-growing employers to apply, plus an additional 8,000 companies and organizations in industries that it wanted to examine more closely. Gamma-Dynacare was selected from a list of more than 2,600 employers who submitted a detailed application describing their operations, HR practices and community involvement.

Gamma-Dynacare's submission highlighted the employee programs, learning and development opportunities, health and safety practices and community projects that help to create a positive work environment and demonstrate the company's commitment to its employees. These programs include recognition events, continuing education opportunities and special programs for employees' children.
