Gas & Oil Expo 2013: networking, demonstrations and discussion
Largest show to date with more than 20,000 energy professionals expected to attend
CALGARY, May 28, 2013 /CNW/ - Gas & Oil Expo 2013, Canada's largest energy event of the year, will open its doors on June 11 at Calgary Stampede Park. The event, which runs from Tuesday, June 11 through Thursday, June 13, provides industry professionals the chance to network, take in interactive demonstrations and discuss the current issues and opportunities facing the gas and oil industry. Over 20,000 national and international registrants and 600 exhibiting companies from North America, China, South Korea, India, Russia and the United Kingdom are expected to attend.
Held in the energy capital of Canada, the event's indoor and outdoor exhibits will showcase emerging technologies, a diverse range of products, and well-known international brands. In response to increased demand, the exhibition expanded into a new hall dedicated to oil sands and heavy oil goods and services and now covers over 170,000 net square feet of exhibit space.
"Every year, we look for new and unique ways to take our events to the next level," says Wes Scott, Executive Vice President of dmg :: events, organizers of Gas & Oil Expo. "This year marks our largest Gas & Oil Expo to date and we are excited to enrich the expo by hosting more engineering and production companies on the exhibit floor and by adding new features, live demonstrations and social events to an already expansive three-day event. We hope these offerings will enhance the experience for both visitors and exhibitors, by providing even more opportunity to network and do business."
