General Donlee Canada Inc. Appoints Hugh MacDiarmid to Board of Directors

TORONTO, Feb. 12, 2013 /CNW/ - General Donlee Canada Inc. ("General Donlee" or the "Company") (TSX:GDI), a leading solutions provider of complex machined precision products serving the Aerospace, Nuclear and Oil and Gas industries, today announced that Hugh MacDiarmid has been appointed to the Company's Board of Directors effective February 8, 2013.

Hugh MacDiarmid has a broad range of executive experience in the energy, transportation and technology sectors.  He served most recently as President & CEO of Atomic Energy of Canada Limited; previously, he served as President & CEO of Laidlaw Transit Inc., Executive Vice-President, Commercial of Canadian Pacific Railway and President & CEO of Lumonics Inc.  He was also a Principal with McKinsey & Company earlier in his career.  He has extensive board experience in the private, public and volunteer sectors.  Hugh earned his HBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University and his MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.
