CALGARY, Sept. 21, 2012 /CNW/ - Genesis Land Development Corp. (TSX-GDC), ("Genesis" or the "Company"), announces that the Company has engaged a search firm to seek a new Chief Financial Officer, following the departure of Simon Fletcher who has served as Chief Financial Officer of the Company since 2010.  Prior to the appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer, the Chief Financial Officer duties will be assumed by senior officers of the Company including Mr. Jeff Blair, Chief Executive Officer of the Company.  "On behalf of management and the board of directors I would like to thank Simon Fletcher for his contribution to the Company and wish him well in his future endeavors" said Jeff Blair, Chief Executive Officer of Genesis.
