Gerber Collision & Glass Opens New Repair Center in Florida

CHICAGO, Dec. 13, 2012 /CNW/ - The Boyd Group Inc. (the "Boyd Group") today announced the opening of a new collision repair center in Orlando, Florida.  The new repair center is approximately 15,000 square feet in size and previously operated as Colonial Auto Body. It now operates under the Gerber Collision & Glass trade name. With this addition, the Boyd Group owns and operates 37 repair centers in Florida, which brings the total number of U.S. locations to 180.

"We continue to grow our presence in Florida, as we open our 14th location in the Greater Orlando Area," said Tim O'Day, President and COO of the Boyd Group's U.S. operations. "We strongly believe that Florida is an attractive market for the Boyd Group.  The new location on Amelia Street helps expands the Gerber brand and allows us to better serve customers and insurance partners in the Orlando metro market."
