Gerber National Glass Services announces "Rebranding"
CHICAGO, Aug. 5, 2015 /CNW/ - The Boyd Group Inc. (the "Boyd Group") today announced the official name change of its third party administrator ("TPA") business, Gerber National Glass Services, to Gerber National Claim Services.
In June 2014, Glass America LLC, parent company to Gerber National Glass Services, acquired the Schaumburg, Ill.-based Netcost Claims Services ("NCS"), an automotive glass claims administrator for insurance and leasing companies. Since then, the two companies have worked to integrate operations and the combined entity is now known as Gerber National Claim Services.
Gerber National Claim Services ("GNCS") offers nationwide auto glass repair & replacement, emergency roadside assistance and first notice of loss and related services through its nationwide network of service providers. These services are designed to be customer service driven, and provide cost effective programs to the fleet management and insurance-funded segments of the automotive and property casualty industry. GNCS provides its clients with a complete outsourced solution from the time that a claim is made through service completion. GNCS manages the claim to ensure that the necessary services are completed in a quality manner and at a competitive price.
"The change of our name to Gerber National Claim Services not only reflects the services that the combined businesses now offer but it also reflects the shared values and goals that the team has" stated Mark Flasch, General Manager of GNCS. "Each predecessor company has a strong track record of ongoing commitment to providing quality, timely, cost effective services in a customer friendly environment to our automotive insurance and fleet management clients and to their customers."
"We are proud to have the Gerber National Claim Services business carry the Gerber name. This name change reflects the completion of integration of the two businesses into one as well as the beginning of a focused growth plan," said Eddie Cheskis, CEO of Glass America, LLC. "We are very excited about Gerber National Claim Services abilities to bring significant value to its clients and customers," he added.
